From August 7 through 12, 15 percent of the proceeds generated at The Firehouse will be donated to Shriners Hospitals for Children – Northern California.

Ten22 to Host Exclusive Beer Dinner on August 4

The Ten22 team invites guests to join them for the restaurant’s inaugural Beer Dinner – Spicy Asia & Cold Brews – on Thursday, August 4 at 6 p.m.

After receiving rave reviews from Beer Tasting Thursday attendees and great feedback from those who participated in the restaurant's Sacramento Beer Week Tasting Dinner, Ten22 Executive Chef Jay Veregge has decided to delve even deeper into the fun-filled world of food and beer pairings.

Veregge will lead guests through a delicious five-course menu, expertly paired with tasty and unique beers.

Menu is subject to change. Detailed information about the beer pairings will be posted on Ten22’s website no later than July 29.

This exclusive Beer Dinner is $49 per person and seating is limited. Reservations are required. Guests must contact the restaurant directly at 916.441.2211 to secure their attendance.

Firehouse Restaurant to celebrate Spring outdoor dining

SACRAMENTO - Spring has sprung at The Firehouse Restaurant! Voted "Best Outdoor Dining," Sacramento's most celebrated courtyard is set to open for lunch outdoor dining on Friday, April 15.

The Firehouse, located at 1112 Second Street in Old Sacramento, will celebrate the annual opening with the launch of its new Spring Menu, a complimentary champagne toast, and a special offer for groups of four or more: 50 percent off their overal food bill.

The opening will also feature live music from Sacramento native, acoutistic guitarist and singer Ryan Hernandez. The event will be held from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

When I moved to California I was excited, because I know you can get some pretty good stuff here. So for the last few months, I’ve been scouring Sacramento in search of the best Mexican food – and finally, on Saturday I found it.

The name of the restaurant is Tres Hermanas (2416 K Street in Midtown) and their food is to die for.

So what did I get that was so mouth-watering good?
