This is a place in North Highlands that I'd seen a few times while driving. I had a lunch stop to make so what the heck. I'm no Cuban food connoisseur since there aren't many around, but I've had a few Cuban sandwiches. Well, I tried it and it was ok. I think the price was a little high for what it was but it was ok, not great but ok. The hot sauce that they had in a squirt bottle was killer. I'll go back and try something else off of the menu.

This February 14, the restaurant will serve an exquisite five-course Valentine’s Day menu, as well as a delicious five-course vegetarian/vegan menu.

Both menus, handcrafted by Executive Chef Deneb Williams and Pastry Chef Jill Berger, showcase The Firehouse’s award-winning cuisine, made with the best fresh and seasonal ingredients the region has to offer. 

Both menus are $125 per person, and seatings are available from 5 to 10:30 pm.  The Firehouse will also be open for lunch.

Keeping with the restaurant’s tradition of providing nothing but the best, Executive Chef Deneb Williams has prepared a delicious four-course prix-fixe menu using the best fresh, local and seasonal ingredients the region has to offer.  Priced at $46.95 per person, this menu will be served from 12:30 to 8 p.m.

Specially created by Executive Chef Jay Veregge, Ten22’s farm-to-table Thanksgiving menu features five mouthwatering courses, served from 12 noon to 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 24 for just $32.95 per person.

A three-course kid's menu is available for children 10 and under.

Firehouse Partners with Domaine Serene for Final Wine Dinner of 2011

As the end of the year nears, The Firehouse restaurant will hold its final Wine Dinner of 2011 on Friday, November 4 at 7 p.m., and will feature award-winning wines from the Domaine Serene Winery. 

Founded more than 20 years ago by Ken and Grace Evenstad, the Domaine Serene Winery is located in the North Willamette Valley, the birthplace of Oregon’s Pinot Noir production.  Dry farmed using sustainable, environmentally-friendly farming practices, the winery is known for producing “consistently elegant, award-winning wines.”  One vintage in particular, the 2008 Domaine Serene “Yamhill Cuvée” Pinot Noir is the top ranked Oregon wine by the glass, as well as the recipient of 91 points by Wine Spectator Insider in both 2010 and 2011.  The notable “Yamhill Cuvée” Pinot Noir is paired with a Chioggia Beet & Pear Salad as the third course.
