Old Fashioned Tingle
1 cup Bourbon
2 tsp Orange bitters (e.g., Fees Brothers)
Prosecco or Cava
6 Tbls Superfine sugar
Orange twist
Mix bourbon, sugar and bitters until sugar is completely dissolved.
Pour 1/2 - 3/4 oz bourbon mixture into a chilled champagne flute and top with Prosecco. Garnish with an orange twist.
Cranberry Ginger Sparkler
3 oz Prosecco or Cava
3 oz Cranberry Juice Seltzer Drink (like ocean spray sparklers)
3/4 oz Ginger Beer
Fresh cranberries
Lemon twist
Pour the Prosecco and cranberry juice seltzer into a chilled champagne flute. Add ginger beer and garnish with a fresh cranberry and lemon twist.
Fizzy Mai Tai
Prosecco or Cava
Orange Juice
3/4 oz Dark Rum
2 tsp Maraschino cherry juice from jar
Lemon twist
Place rum and cherry juice in a chilled champagne flute. Fill glass with Prosecco until 2/3 full and finish with a splash of orange juice. Garnish with a lemon twist and Maraschino cherry.
Holiday Fruitcake
Sparkling apple juice (option: bottle of sparkling water for a calorie cutback)
Orange juice
1/4 tsp store bought eggnog
2 tsp Maraschino cherry juice
Lemon twist
Place cherry juice and eggnog in a chilled champagne flute. Add equal parts sparkling apple juice/sparkling water and orange juice. Garnish with a lemon twist.
