SACRAMENTO - Police are looking for two men suspected of beating a man in a possible "bias-related" attack Sunday night.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was walking home in the area of 20th and D St. at 10:13 p.m. when he was approached by a man from behind. The approaching man made various derogatory statements using gay slurs. A second man then struck the victim on the lower portion of his body while also using derogatory slurs, according to Sacramento police reports.

Emergency personnel were called to the scene and transported the victim to hospital with minor injuries.

One of the alleged attackers was described as a black man, 24 to 28 years old, 5'10" tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a dark green t-shirt and blue jeans.

The second suspect was described as a white man, 28 to 34 years old, 5'8" to 5'10" tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored t-shirt and pants.

SACRAMENTO, CA - A Sacramento doctor was arrested for violations ranging from grand theft, mayhem and battery.

Dr. Efrain Gonzalez is a plastic surgeon News10 first profiled in 2011 report after a woman claimed that he botched a breast implant surgery. That same year, the Medical Board filed an accusation calling for the board to revoke or suspend the doctor's license citing gross negligence, incompetence, and dishonest or corrupt acts.

On Friday, agents raided his Rocklin home and office, and his office in Sacramento. The state Medical Board arrested Gonzalez for mayhem and battery. They also took his wife into custody. Both were arrested for grand theft, false advertising and aiding and abetting the unlicensed practice of medicine.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) - The Justice Department is charging a former web producer for Sacramento-based FOX station KTXL of conspiring with members of the hacker group "Anonymous" to hack into and alter a Tribune Company website. 

Matthew Keys was named Thursday in an indictment filed in federal court in Sacramento. The 26-year-old from New Jersey faces one count each of conspiracy to transmit information to damage a protected computer, as well transmitting and attempting to transmit that information. (See sidebar for indictment.)

The government alleges that Keys gave Anonymous members a login and password for a computer server belonging to FOX40's corporate parent, the Tribune Company. Prosecutors say Keys encouraged the hackers to disrupt the website, and at least one hacker used the credentials to change the online version of a Los Angeles Times story.
