SACRAMENTO, CA - Calls to police to report graffiti taggers at work led to the arrest of three young men for vandalism in downtown Sacramento early Monday morning.

According to the Sacramento police report, Jeffrey Pelletier, 21; Timothy Navarro, 21; and Calvin Cortez, 19, were stopped with fresh paint on their hands and spray paint cans in their possession at 9th and P streets just before 12:30 a.m. Officers canvassed the area and found fresh graffiti on buildings, sidewalks and trash cans.

Pelletier, Navarro and Cortez were booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of felony vandalism. Navarro was also arrested on outstanding warrants, police said.
