Man convicted of molesting young relatives | Crime

SACRAMENTO, CA - A man who sexually preyed on young relatives could receive 130 years to life in prison when he is sentenced Jan. 25, 2013, according to the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office.

D.A. spokeswoman Shelly Orio says a Sacramento Superior Court jury has found defendant Rogelio Salazar guilty of rape, sodomy, and lewd and lascivious acts on children under the age of 14.

The victims, who testified at Salazar's trial, were family members and friends. The children were 5 to 12 years old at the time of the crimes and were molested at social events, according to testimony.
