Woman stabbed in neck at Sacramento gas station | Crime

SACRAMENTO, CA - A woman was stabbed in the neck at a Midtown gas station Tuesday afternoon.

Sacramento police responded to the AM PM Gas Station at 2225 16 th Street around 4:43 p.m., Officer Michele Gigante said.

The woman was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Gigante said the suspect was described as a Hispanic male wearing a white tank top and short hair; he was last seen walking eastbound on W Street.

The motive of the stabbing is unclear.
