Child molester receives life sentence | Crime

SACRAMENTO, CA - A convicted child predator received a sentence of 30 years in prison and 225 years to life in prison for molesting a young boy over three months in 2008.

Edward Bridgeman learned his fate in Sacramento Superior Court Thursday. A jury previously found Bridgeman guilty of seven counts of child molestation.

Bridgeman's previous victim was young female relative, said Shelly Orio with the Sacramento County District Attorney's Office. He was convicted of two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct in that case.
