Mothers Against Drunk Driving to hold annual 5k Walk Like MADD in Southside Park | Community

 WHAT:          Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will host its annual 5K fundraising and awareness event, Walk Like MADD, on Saturday October 6, 2012, at Southside Park in downtown Sacramento. This is the Greater Sacramento’s 7th Walk, and is a way for friends, families and co-workers to join together to help eliminate drunk driving all while supporting MADD’s Mission to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking.  This year’s event features over 30 vendors from a variety of industries as well as attractions for all members of the family.

WHERE:        Southside Park, 6th and T Streets, Sacramento, CA

WHEN:          Saturday October 6, 2012, Opening Ceremonies 8:00 am, Walk Begins 8:30 am.
